“How to Stand Up to a Dictator” - The Reading Resistance Book Group

Indivisible Central VA is hosting a book group!

The book group will be held on Monday, June 23 from 6:30 - 7:30 pm at the Main Richmond Public Library (101 E Franklin St, Richmond VA 23219) in the Annex.

Our first book will “How to Stand Up to a Dictator - The Fight for Our Future” by Maria Ressa.

We will provide light snacks. We also plan to have a “kids corner” with crafts and toys, but need to know in advance how many children will be attending so we can appropriately plan ahead.
We are working on having a virtual option (either Zoom style or live stream). Please indicate if you are attending in person or virtually.

We will consider holding additional book groups in more locations across central VA and/or in larger spaces depending on the turn out of our first book group.
