Orbital Music Park presents a weekly jam session celebrating funk, soul, and R&B classics.
Get up, get into it, and get involved! This weekly show begins with a short set of funk and soul classics performed by Orbital Music Park's collective ensemble, featuring vocalist Therocelle Moore. Next up is a jam session, where players of all levels and instruments are formed into bands that perform their unrehearsed version of a tune pulled at random from a playlist of funk classics and deep cuts. The experience is part show, part jam session, and a wall-to-wall dance party.
Players of all levels and instruments are welcome. The OMP team curates ensembles as the night unfolds - so the bands are different every song and every week! Favorite artists include: Prince, Parliament / Funkadelic, The Meters, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, and Etta James. Instruments provided: drums, bass and amp, baby grand piano, guitar amps, Hammond organ, percussion, and much more.
Audience participation is encouraged, whether you're dancing in your seat or on your feet. Play some bongos, have a beer, and jam with the band.

General admission. Seats are selected upon arrival and cannot be reserved in advance.
