Do you want to take your trail riding to the next level?
This day is aimed at orientating you for your first attendance at an Endurance Ride.
Entries are limited to 20 riders and horses, however you may also come without a horse. You'll still learn heaps, as well as getting a good insight into the workings of a "Ride".
Learn about vetting procedures, heart rates, signage on course, how the timing rules work, course etiquette, what is strapping and how to approach it in various conditions.
Learn about tack, what gear to bring, hoof protection and more!
This is the first of two introduction days, helping you prepare yourself and your horse for a 20 or 40 kilometre ride.
Riders are expected to be confident with their horses at walk and trot.
