Blood Drive: All Blood Types Needed

Thinking about donating blood but not sure what to expect?

It’s normal to have questions, especially if you’re new to the process. Some people worry about needles. If you do, this is what you can expect. You might feel a quick pinch when the needle goes in, but it's quickly over and in about 10 minutes, you'll be on your way to enjoy some refreshments.

If it helps get you through the moment, think of the patients who are counting on you. A few seconds of discomfort can give someone else a second chance at life. The reward? Knowing you saved a life.

If you can donate, Versiti Blood Center of Ohio will host a blood drive from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, at Reid Health in Lingle Auditorium.
