Join us for a powerful day of movement, healing, and solidarity at the Second Annual Dance for Liberation — another year in raising vital funds and awareness for Haneen and her family, who remain in Gaza amid the ongoing genocide.
This year’s event is both a fundraiser and an honoring of life ceremony. We gather in remembrance of Haneen’s brother Hamed and his 5-year-old son Maged, who were killed June 3rd, 2025 in a residential bombing by Israeli forces. Their lives — and all Palestinian lives — deserve to be remembered, honored, and fought for.
🕙 Schedule of Events:
10 AM - Doors and Raffles Open
12 PM - Ecstatic Dance Session (approx. 90 minutes)
2 PM - Open Community Mingle
💃🏽 What to Expect:
• Uplifting community dance and movement session
• Music and joy as resistance
• Memorial space and reflection
• Raffle baskets filled with donated art, goods, and gift cards
✨ 100% of funds raised will go directly to Haneen and her family for housing, food, medical aid, and other survival needs.
