Every Friday night at Blu in the Richland Uptown, we gather to remember what stillness feels like.
Doors open at 6:00pm — come early to settle in, claim your space, and connect with kindred spirits. The practice begins at 6:30pm and lasts about an hour.
We start gently. Keena welcomes you with soft essential oil aromas designed to open your heart, soothe your nervous system, and create a sacred space for the evening. Together, we set a simple but powerful intention before surrendering to the sounds.
From there, allow yourself to drift into a deep journey as Keena — often joined by other sound practitioners — weaves a symphony of healing frequencies through the space. The tones of crystal singing bowls, chimes, rainmakers, and ancient instruments help calm the mind, release tension stored in the body, and reconnect you to your true inner stillness.
If you’ve never experienced a sound bath before, it’s truly something beyond words. You don’t just listen — you feel it in every cell of your being.
⸻
The benefits of sound healing are profound:
• Reduces stress and quiets the overactive mind
• Eases anxiety and emotional tension
• Balances the nervous system
• Enhances sleep and deep rest
• Supports physical healing by bringing the body into a natural state of harmony
• Clears emotional blockages and invites greater self-awareness
• Helps reset energy after long weeks of busy schedules, technology overload, and daily demands
For those feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or just craving peace — this practice offers a sanctuary. A place to realign, breathe, and simply be.
⸻
Once we close the practice with gratitude and final reflections, you’re warmly invited to linger, meet new friends, and explore Blu’s beautiful collection of local artist creations, gemstones, crystals, and nature’s little wonders. The shelves are regularly refreshed, and there’s always something magical waiting to find you.
