Impressionistic Landscape with Renee Egan

10:00am – 12:30pm
$95 + $35 materials fee payable to instructor at the time of class
For beginners up through intermediate level (Ages 18+)

Students will learn to paint impressionistically by using a color theory approach and by experimenting with color’s values and temperatures. We will be layering and mixing different paint colors using a palette knife. Different tools and applications will be taught as well to promote Intuitive and creative textures and movements in their painting. Applying paint will be used in a whole new way some examples are rolling color on, and scraping off layers. Each student will use their own landscape references that they will bring printed out in both color and in black and white. We will be using water-soluble oil paints.

Supplies will be provided for a material fee of $35.00 due on the first class. Please bring a printed out references of several landscapes you want to paint in color and in black and white.


~About the Artist~
Elissa Goldberg is an artist who primarily works with pastels. She has honed her craft over the past 20+ years and is a juried artisan. She has taught beginners as well as more advanced artists. She has conducted a variety of workshops in both New Jersey as well as local venues. She currently has her artwork in eight different art galleries and often has solo art shows. She is a member of the Pastel Society of America.
