Espresso Extracting 101

This class is for the home barista who is interested in experimenting with upping their espresso game.

Come prepared to learn the basics:

• The variables of espresso pulling
• How to identify and troubleshoot an under extracted vs. over extracted espresso shot
• Where the "sour vs bitter" in espresso registers on the tastebuds
• Difference between a ristretto and lungo shot
• How to dial in any single origin or blend for espresso

This will be a fun time filled with hands-on learning as each attendant will get a chance to jump on the bar and try their hand at pulling the perfect shot!

We will be tasting quite a bit of espresso so please ensure you are not attending on an empty stomach.
