Unique CZ Accordion Orchestra to Entertain Area Audiences
In an historic Wisconsin tour, the unique Akordeonovy Orchestra of 20+ young musicians will perform classical, historical and festive cultural music for Rice Lake area communities August 18-24. The orchestra has charmed and inspired audiences throughout eastern CZ for many years. Their unique sound is heralded by critics as “a blend of youthful exuberance and disciplined talent that pleases audiences in several venues.”
A public orchestra performance is Tuesday, August 19 at 7 p.m., at
Music In the Park at the Rice Lake Bandshell; The rain location is Bethany Lutheran Church, 35 W Messenger St. Rice Lake.
The group will also visit local sites and experience typical summer family activities.
Co-chairs are Angela Beranek and Susan Wojtkiewicz, who both hosted orchestra member Vojetch Cvik when he was a student in the RLIFA high school student exchange program. Several other community volunteers are involved in the planning
and several local organizations have pledged financial support.
