In a time of genocide, rising fascism, big-tech censorship and international armament, we need to come together and say 'nei takk' or 'no thanks'. Let's create a space of resistance, let's be bodies for humanity. Come as you are. DJ line-up to be announced. Poster will come. More information will be added asap.
All ages!
Organised by Smekkleysa staff and local DJ's<3

Our Safer-Space Policy:
Smekkleysa has a safer-space policy that event goers, event makers and artists are encouraged to educate themselves on before coming.
In the spirit of D.I.T we want to do our best to make our venue as safe as we can. Respecting each other creates value for everyone!
Be responsible for your own actions. They have an effect on others.
Examine your own subtle and not-so-subtle prejudices.
If you or others are using drugs or alcohol they may be affecting yours’ and others behaviours and decisions around consent. Be mindful.
Any individual or group engaging in violence (including sexual violence and harassment) or who threatens another’s safety within the space will automatically be excluding themselves. We will ask them to leave the space.
If you experience or witness behaviour that crosses your boundaries or makes you feel uncomfortable, please talk to the bar staff.
Take responsibility for your own safety and get help if you need it.
Remember that explicit verbal consent is the best way to make sure you have consent.
To be clear, Smekkleysa does NOT welcome gender-based or sexual harassment, abuse, assault, misogyny, homophobia, transmisogyny, transphobia, racism, xenophobia, ableism, fatphobia, ageism, classism, and bigotry in any of its forms.
Some of our event’s are All-ages, some are Age-restricted.
As of now we do not have an anonymous contact form, but if you would like to give feedback or raise concerns about behaviour, structures or specific events, feel free to contact us.
Event makers must to their best ability help create a safe space for artists and event goers which includes being mindful of who is platformed. We encourage diverse line-ups that adhere to our safer space policy.
