Hljómsveitin Vax var stofnuð árið 1999 sem tríó. Orgeli, gítar og trommur.
Í byrjun spiluðu þeir mest Breskt rythm og blús rokk frá 6. og 7. áratugnum undir sterkum áhrifum frá hljóm FARFISA orgelsins.
VAX hefur leikið á tónleikum og tónlistarhátíðum hérlendis (Iceland Airwaves, Aldrei fór ég suður, Bræðslan 2011, Norðurljósablús og Frysk Festival í Hollandi svo eitthvað sé nefnt.
