Dúó Harpverk skipa Katie Buckley hörpuleikari og Frank Aarnink slagverksleikari. Þau leggja áherslu á að panta og flytja nýja tónlist fyrir hörpu og slagverk, einkum frá þeim sem eru að stíga sín fyrstu skref. Frá stofnun árið 2007, hefur Dúó Harpverk frumflutt yfir 100 verk eftir íslensk og erlend tónskáld. Dúó Harpverk hefur komið fram á Listahátíð í Reykjavík, Tectonics, Myrkum músíkdögum, Iceland Airwaves, Kirkjulistahátíð, Ung Nordisk Musik, og í 15:15 tónleikaröðinni. Árið 2015, frumflutti dúóið Poltroons in Paradise eftir Stewart Copeland með Sinfóníuhljómsveit Íslands. Tvíeykið hefur komið fram í Danmörku, Hollandi og Færeyjum á hátíðum á borð við OpenDays Festival, Íslenska músíkdaga í Amsterdam og Summartóna. Þau hafa einnig komið fram í Kennedy Center í Washington, D.C. sem hluti af Nordic Cool-hátíðinni. Dúó Harpverk hefur gefið út tvær plötur: The Greenhouse Sessions (fáanleg á Bandcamp) og Offshoots.

The Greenhouse Sessions is available on Bandcamp.

Lilja María Ásmundsdóttir’s artistic practice is centred on explorations of collaborative creativity. Working with sculptural elements of sound and matter, she creates installations, sound sculptures, audio-visual pieces, and performances. The works are actively designed to facilitate continuous processes that highlight how ideas surface from correspondences with materials, between individuals, and in context to one’s surroundings. Lilja María’s works have been exhibited at the Dark Music Days Festival, Donaueschinger Musiktage in Germany, Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, and eavesdropping in London. Her works include the sound and light sculpture Hulda, which was nominated for the Icelandic President’s Student Innovation Award and the living sound sculpture Lurking Creature, which she developed in collaboration with the dancer Inês Zinho Pinheiro.

Berglind María Tómasdóttir is a flutist and a composer living in Reykjavík, Iceland. In her work she frequently explores identities, archetypes and music as a social phenomenon through different mediums. Berglind has worked with composers such as Björk, Anna Thorvaldsdóttir, Peter Ablinger and Carolyn Chen, and received commissions from Dark Music Days, the National Flute Association, Sequences Art Festival, Reykjavík Arts Festival and Nordic Music Days to name a few. Her album, Ethereality, won the 2022 Icelandic Music Awards as the album of the year. Berglind Tómasdóttir holds degrees in flute playing from Reykjavik College of Music and the Royal Danish Music Conservatory in Copenhagen and a DMA from University of California, San Diego.
