A Cocoon of Sound | A Cozy Listening Journey at White Lotus
May 4th | 18:00–21:00 | White Lotus, Reykjavík
Step into a world of rest, mystical music and warmth. On Sunday, May 4th, we welcome you into a cozy cocoon of sound, music, and softness - a space where you’re invited to lie down, exhale deeply, and be gently held by healing music and sound in a cozy, and magical atmosphere.
Live music & visuals by:
Sunna Fridjons - mystical indie pop with vocals from a fantasy realm
Sævar Helgi – raw soothing cinematic piano compositions
Thorkell Máni – warm, lo-fi beatscapes to ground and uplift
And Fanaha – expressive, intuitive visual art (on display + for sale)
Doors at White Lotus open at 18:00 – come early to settle in or grab a nourishing meal next door at Mama Reykjavík, who are offering 20% off food for all guests. The listening journey will begin around 18:30, so you have time to eat or nest into your space.
We’ll provide pillows, cushions, blankets, and soft lighting to create a nest-like environment for deep rest and presence. Feel free to bring your own mat or comfort items.
The vibe?
Like a Californian sound bath fell in love with a cinematic sleep concert, and the two opened up a cozy spa for the soul.
This music event is especially for the sensitives, artists, fantasy-lovers, intuitives, mystics and softies, who love mystical and soothing music and who also crave healing and connection - and coziness! We also know the feeling of not wanting to leave your comfy nest at home to go to an event, so we’ll do our best to create that nest at White Lotus!
