2025 Trashion Show!!

It’s back baby!

The highly anticipated, enthusiastically awaited event of the spring is once again joining forces with Revelstoke's Re-Fest for 2025 and will be taking place on Sunday, May 25th at the Revelstoke Rec Centre.

Join us for an unforgettable celebration of creativity and sustainability at the 2025 Trashion Show. Participants will fashion imaginative outfits using nothing but garbage and recyclables, showcasing the beauty of eco-friendly fashion. Cheer on the models as they strut their stuff on the runway, inspiring us all to embrace sustainable living in style. Don't miss this opportunity to witness innovation and environmental consciousness come together in a fun and festive atmosphere!

Trashion is a combination of "trash" and "fashion," referring to the practice of creating outfits using discarded materials or items that would otherwise be considered waste. It's a form of sustainable fashion that promotes recycling, upcycling, and creativity by turning trash into wearable art.

Event Timeline:

6:30pm: Music starts and crowds gather
7:00pm: Trashion Show begins

Event Rules:

- Outfits must only be made of materials that were destined for the landfill. Do not create more waste to create your outift.
- Designers are responsible for providing their own models
- Keep it clean - this is a family friendly event

- There will be no admission fee or outfit entrance fee, the Trashion Show will be used to promote sustainable living and inspire the community to think twice about their own consumerism habits.
