Silence No More Movement and Women Giving Back invite you to a honest and straightforward conversation that is interactive, educational, supportive, and an advocacy driven training addressing the impact of domestic violence and human trafficking in our community.
From experiences of abduction and sexual assault to being the daughter of a human trafficker, survivors dismantle stigmas associated with domestic violence and human trafficking. They are dedicated to educating others and demonstrating there is hope and healing on the other side.
This unique training moderated by Stacey Metcalfe allows guests the opportunity to hear firsthand from survivors how they survived various forms of domestic violence and human trafficking and what support systems played a key role in their survival.
We discuss long-term abuse effects, importance of two-year support platforms and how to collaboratively lengthen and strengthen our current support systems to reduce returns to abusive situations, thereby decreasing isolation, depression, embarrassment, financial loss, generational abuse, and even deaths.
Includes light breakfast and lunch.
Reservations are required.
