Are you interested in learning more about organic gardening methods? Join us at the Farm at Halley Rise and an Up Top Acres farmer will discuss the ins and outs of organic gardening--from what types of soils and seeds to use, and how to keep your plants happy and healthy.
Each guest will leave with their own seedlings, pots, gloves and trowels to get their home garden started!
This event is offered for free. If you choose the donation ticket option, all funds will be donated to our community partner, Cornerstones.
Info: Once the guests have gathered, an Up Top Acres farmer will kick things off with an introduction about the Farm at Halley Rise, and a quick tour!
Info: Next we'll learn about the basics of Organic Gardening! An Up Top Acres farmer will discuss best practices and each guest will get to plant seedlings to bring home with them.
