Concert - Finnish with Grace

The Reston Community Orchestra’s season finale concert offers a stunning showcase of classical music. The afternoon features two back-to-back works by the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius: the triumphant Symphony No. 3 and the stirring tone poem Finlandia.

In addition to the Sibelius selections, the orchestra will perform Camille Saint-Saëns’ La Muse et le Poète, a beautiful tone poem that will feature RCO Concertmaster Sarah Calderon and principal cellist Kurt Usowski as the soloists.

Before the concert begins, join us for a special pre-concert performance at 3:40 PM, where RCO flautists Duo Amabile will present a delightful selection of duets.
