Start your morning with the music of the garden—birdsong!

Join us for a peaceful, beginner-friendly Intro to Birding led by Sustainable Renton board member and local bird enthusiast Zach Watson.
You’ll learn how to recognize common bird calls, spot and identify local species, and connect more deeply with the rhythms of nature—all before our regular Garden Work Party begins at 9 AM.


* Coffee provided
* Rain or shine—bring sturdy shoes, sunscreen, and layers
* Bring binoculars if you have them! (a few will be shared)
* Ages 13+


Whether you’re a seasoned naturalist or just bird-curious, this is a perfect chance to slow down, tune in, and appreciate the wildlife that shares our garden space. Let’s listen and learn together.
