Free Anti-Abduction Workshop Empowers Local Kids with Safety Skills
Reno, NV – Cornerstone Martial Arts, in partnership with Kaia FIT Sierra, is proud to offer a free Kids’ Anti-Abduction Workshop designed to teach essential safety skills in a fun, supportive environment.
This free 90-minute workshop will be held Saturday, July 19, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Kaia FIT Sierra’s West Reno studio, located at 6160 Mae Anne Ave., Suite 1.
Created for children ages 5-12 and their parents, the workshop will include:
● Awareness training (how to identify a potentially dangerous situation)
● Verbal and distancing drills to set boundaries and signal for help
● Practical, age-appropriate escape techniques
● Vehicle anti-abduction skills
● And more!
“This workshop is designed to equip kids with tools they can really use, in a positive learning environment,”” said David Giomi, co-founder of Cornerstone Martial Arts. “It’s a high-energy, engaging class that builds confidence and awareness in both kids and parents.”
