Beginner Level Bluegrass Jam Class - 4th Thursday of every month

We teach Bluegrass standard songs and jamming skills. You need to have basic skills on your instrument. Know simple chords and how to strum, pick, pluck or bow it.

September's tune is "Jesse James" (Part 2). We provide materials and music stands.

Open to all Bluegrass instruments - banjo, fiddle, guitar, mandolin, dobro and bass.

We learn at least 1 new tune per class. We use the "Bluegrass Fakebook" to learn singing songs, and we have printouts for the chords to instrumental tunes commonly played at Bluegrass Jams.

$5 donation requested goes to the Mountain Music Parlor.
