This meeting is one for everyone to contribute and have a
say. As we read and hear, there's all the science and
research into what our parrots "should" eat. But they, like us,
have favorites, and don't always eat their "vegetables". This
will be a "tell", or possibly a "show", about your parrot's eating
habits. This will be a fun discussion, no right or wrong, about
our parrots and their naughty and healthy habits!
As an example, my military macaw, Merlin, loves pasta,
chicken, and salmon. He will vocalize loudly when he sees
those items on my plate. He's got to have his share! I doubt
pasta is considered a healthy item for him, but he loves it!
Some of you have wonderful "bird food" recipes! Please bring
copies to share! Or if you have found funny stories, or recipes
on line, please share those also.
See everyone at the meeting! We'll have snacks, cookies, and
sodas! Also, water for those wanting to eat in a more healthy
fashion!
