We aim to create a meaningful and inclusive musical experience that encourages rhythmic connection and tonal exploration in a safe, playful space. This event centers around the theme of transitions, with a special focus on new beginnings. Facilitated by Jonathan Murray, a master of rhythm-based events, this gathering will highlight the power of music to build community, celebrate cultural connections, and inspire joy. Jonathan brings a deep passion for sharing the transformative energy of recreational music-making.
Jonathan Murray has had an enriching 20 year career as a drum circle facilitator, keynote presenter, organizer and teacher. He has lived and worked in many different countries, including as a Peace Corp volunteer in Nepal, and has assimilated these diverse cultural experiences into his programs. He holds a Masters Degree in Intercultural and International Management and has assimilated his education and life experience to create powerful experiential programs for workplace and community development.
In 2001, Jonathan founded FunDrum Rhythm Circles, a company dedicated to providing high-quality, rhythm-based events for community building, wellness and celebration. Jonathan has been fortunate to have worked with so many different groups of people, both here in the United States as well as internationally, bringing them the empowering experience of recreational music making.
