The next SEE VR Social Trail Meet Up will be hosted by Surrey 🤗. The full/long route is an out and back, 24km course, but you could easily do any distance out and back if the full distance does not suit you 🙂
This route is a firm favourite along the North Downs Way; taking in some beautiful viewpoints, fun woodland trails, and the famous Box Hill Stepping Stones (and Steps!).

Meeting place is National Trust - Reigate Hill and Gatton Park, Wray Ln, Reigate RH2 0HX ///broken.gifts.librarian (parking is free). The run will start at 9am so, please aim to arrive just before. The public toilets should be available, they are situated right next to the meeting spot.
These runs will be very informal, relaxed, trail (mostly) runs with all abilities more than welcome. They will not officially be led by anyone, though we may have guest run leaders from time to time; so, it is a good idea to save the route to your watch or phone.
The group will progress at a pace that accommodates everyone; no one will be left behind as we will aim to run together 🤝. Some meet ups may be longer and/or harder than others, but I for one fully intend to walk up most of the hills 😅.
Running on trails is a little different to running on roads and paths: As a rough guide; you should feel comfortable running about 20% further than these trail distances on road. Trail shoes are highly recommended, as is bringing hydration and fuel .. and fresh clothes and shoes to change into for afterwards 😉
There is a great cafe at the start/finish for refuelling afterwards 😊 And we will undoubtedly stop for ice cream at Box Hill (roughly halfway)!
