Lazio – The region surrounding Rome, Lazio’s cuisine is as bold as its history. With a focus on simplicity and robust flavors, dishes often feature pecorino cheese, cured pork, and fresh herbs. Puglia – Nestled in Italy’s “heel,” Puglia is known for its hearty peasant fare, featuring ingredients like olive oil, tomatoes, and fresh cheeses.
