All Bottled Up! From Badger Brew to Pape’s Pop - The History of Bottling in Reedsburg

Come and learn about the history of bottling in Reedsburg on Monday, July 14 at 6 pm at the Reedsburg Public Library.
The desire for a nice cool refreshing beverage has been around ever since beverages could be chilled. The advent of bottling meant that chilled drinks could be portable as well. Reedsburg had two long-standing bottled beverage manufacturers, the Reedsburg Brewery and the Reedsburg Bottling Works. The first made beer for over 75 years including Badger Brew and Blue Wing beer and the second made 12 different flavors of soda pop and other non-alcoholic carbonated drinks.
