Shabbat Picnic Dinner

Grab your blankets, bring your own vegetarian picnic dinner, and head on over to Congregation Beth Jacob in Redwood City for some baby and tot Shabbat fun.

Join JBN Director Carol Booth and CBJ’s Cantor Barbara for a rockin’ outdoor Babies and Blessings Shabbat with music, shakers, puppets, dancing, play time and more! Challah, grape juice, and drinks will be provided.

The suggested donation for this event is $18 to help cover costs. No one is turned away, so please give what you can.Please respect CBJ guidelines and bring a vegetarian picnic dinner. Cheese and eggs are OK.

Registration is appreciated but not required. Registration helps us plan and be in touch in case anything changes. You do not need to be a member of any organization to attend this event.

Our programs are designed for families with children aged 0-36 months, but bring the whole family! Grandparents and extended family welcome too. We always have great snacks, fun art supplies, and play spaces for older siblings too. We welcome everyone, including unaffiliated, single and multi-parent, multi-faith, multi-ethnic, multi-abled, and LGBTQ+ families.
