Emergency First Aid at Work

The Emergency First Aid at Work Course is available for workplaces who require trained first aiders but do not necessarily require the detail of the 3-day First Aid at Work Course.

This course is designed to meet the first aid requirements of lower risk working environments such as offices, shops and food outlets.

If you think that your workplace is higher risk then the longer 3 day First Aid at Work Course would be more suitable for you.

Role and responsibilities of a first aider
Aims and priorities of a first aider
Information on first aid equipment
Primary assessment
Resuscitation for an adult casualty
The recovery position
Choking
How to deal with minor/major bleeding and shock
Dealing with seizures
