NEW! Art Surgery Peer Support Sessions
What is ‘Art Surgery?’
Art Surgery is a new peer support group led by CAMP members that aims to bring together artists of all backgrounds and experiences. It is not practice limited; allowing for critique sessions to be held and general discussions to be had around specific artwork, or any worries, concerns or questions that you may have around your work or within the art field.
Think of it like a drop in doctor’s surgery but for artists!
How does it work?
The idea is to navigate to different venues within a 6/8week rolling programme. Each event will be bookable and aims to allow artists in different geographic locations to have the opportunity to attend. Those attending can bring work in progress, or any specific questions or concerns etc to the group where you will have the opportunity to have the support and experience of other artists to help you achieve your goals. Most importantly this is about encouragement, support, and allowing new perspectives to grow.
This is not a kin group, but a drop-in as and when you need it type of group. Use it as much or little as you need.
Who is it for?
This exciting initiative sees CAMP working for the first time in partnership with CKA @CreativeKernowAssociates . The Art Surgery is intended as an on-going opportunity that’s free of charge and open to any member of either organisation.
