Monsters On Tap

Monsters On Tap is a friendly pub gathering where a local artist shares a selection of her creature creations and reveals the stories and secrets behind them. This session includes a cursed mummy hand, a baby velociraptor, a pet ghost, and an eerie animal illusion.

How it works

We’ll meet up in a reserved space at Postdoc Brewing in Redmond. Come early to snag a seat and order drinks and bites.

While you sip, the artist will show-and-tell a selection of her creatures and share how she made each one, delving into as much technical detail as the group wants. She’ll share tips, answer questions, and facilitate creative conversation.

Topics may range from:

• coming up with creature ideas
• mindset and confidence
• sculpting, molding, furring, and materials selection
• painting and other ways of adding color
• making accessories and details like whiskers and wings

You don’t have to be an artist to enjoy Monsters on Tap—any kind, curious person is welcome.
