Smart Lunch! Licensed Midwives & Doulas in the Perinatal Landscape

Doulas Partner and Family First Maternity Center are excited to offer comprehensive training that highlights the essential roles of Licensed Midwives and Doulas in the perinatal landscape. This training explores the various types of Doulas and Midwives, detailing the unique services each offers while emphasizing the importance of their collaborative care. The goal of this educational presentation is to enhance partnerships and improve outcomes for birthing individuals, babies, and families in our community.

About the Presenters

Christina McCabe is the co-owner of Doulas Partner, the premier doula agency in Shasta County, and is a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula as well as a Lactation Educator/Counselor.

Samantha Reinhardt is a Doula and Childbirth Educator as well as the Co-Owner of Doulas Partner LLC. Samantha was among the first Doulas in the state to accept Medi-Cal insurance and continues to offer Doula services to Medi-Cal members.

Tesa Lubans Dehaven, LM, CPM is a licensed midwife, educator, and visionary founder of Aurora Midwifery & Wellness Co., where she blends clinical expertise with lifestyle-centered support to guide families through fertility, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with intention and grace.

Becka Frankie is a Licensed Midwife who has been practicing for 20 years. Frankie completed her training in the Philippines through Mercy in Action College of Midwifery and is currently a board member for the college.
