C'mon down Saturday and Sunday, December 6-7, from 9am - 5pm at the Shasta College Farm for our annual Country Christmas Fair and Christmas Tree Sale! Come get your Christmas shopping done early with gifts handcrafted by Shasta College students and local creators. 'Tis the season to support students and small businesses!
In addition to shopping and trees, we will have a variety of free family-friendly activities! Come write a letter to Santa and meet him in-person from 12pm - 1pm both Saturday and Sunday, and kids can make a fun holiday craft in our craft corner!
Shasta College Phi Theta Kappa Chapter will be hosting our food service booth, where delicious breakfast, lunch, and snack items will be available for purchase.
Proceeds from student-made sales benefit Shasta College students. All tree proceeds benefit our Ag Leadership students and contribute to scholarships, professional development, and travel for CA Agriculture industry field trips.
Tree species include Noble Fir, Nordmann Fir, Douglas Fir, Silver Tip, and more! Tree prices vary by size and we take cash, check, or card! Tree trimming and netting are available at no extra cost. Trees will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and no appointment or presale is necessary. A military or first responder discount is available at checkout. Free coffee and hot chocolate will be available as you browse our selection. Bring 6 non-perishable canned food items and receive $3 off one tree. Canned food will be donated to the Good News Rescue Mission.
All patrons and visitors will park in the Solar Array Parking Lot (Sycamore Parking Lot) and take the short walk into the farm. Please look for and follow the signs. When entering the campus from the South Entrance, stay to the right and follow the signs to the Sycamore Parking Lot. Our Ag students will be operating shuttles to help transport people to and from vehicles throughout the day. Handicap parking is available at the farm with a valid permit. Once visitors have purchased a tree, they will be directed back to their vehicle with a receipt to drive around and pick up their tree. Gates into the farm will remain closed until 9am and the road into the farm from our North Entrance will be closed.
