Randy Dragon & Don Redfoot Presentation

"In March, Doris & Randy Dragon and Kathy Kenyon & Don Redfoot headed off for an adventure in southern Africa, mainly Botswana. After a grueling flight and 4 shared days (Soweto in Johannesburg, South Africa; Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe), the foursome split up at Chobe National Park in Kasane, Botswana. Doris and Kathy made the historic Chobe Safari Lodge their base for game trips by boat and land rover as well as cultural experiences, like visiting the women's art co-op and traditional mud/dung Namibian village homes with solar panels on top.

Meanwhile Randy and Don set off on an intense photography safari rigorously designed by professional photographers to catch the wildlife of the magnificent Chobe in the perfect light. Their pictures and videos, now edited and organized into a story, will be the core of a presentation on May 12 at 6:00 pm at the Roosevelt Center. The Roosevelt Center has a huge screen, perfect for photos and videos of elephants playing among other photos/videos of hippos, giraffe, crocodiles, lions, water buffalo, baboons, impala, mongoose, dung beetles, monitor lizards, and lots of amazing birds.
