Wondering how two leg ties can open up new possibilities of posture, sensuality, and aesthetic flow? In this all levels rope workshop, we’ll dive into the Frog and Mermaid ties, learning both how to tie them and how to adapt them for comfort, connection, and personal expression.
The frog tie binds ankle to thigh, creating that characteristic bent leg shape reminiscent of a frog. The mermaid tie binds the thighs and legs together for an enclosed, flowing form. If the frog tie position is physically difficult, we’ll also offer an alternate thigh tie so everyone can participate.
Workshop Schedule:
3:00–5:00pm - Guided instruction and hands-on tying practice (frog tie, mermaid tie, adaptations)
5:15–6:00pm - Live Rope Performance by Tiger (included with all tickets)
This is a low-pressure space where you can learn, laugh, and ask questions. Bring a partner or come solo - we’ll help with pairing if needed.
**Pre-requisites: Must have taken Rope 101 with Tiger or an approved practitioner.
If you have no prior rope experience, you’re still welcome. A free online instruction module is available to bring you up to speed. Please contact us for details on accessing that material.
