The Digimon Card Game (also known as the Digimon TCG or Digimon CG) is a competitive trading card game based on the Digimon franchise, developed and published by Bandai. The game features characters, creatures, and elements from the various Digimon anime series, games, and media.

Players build decks of 50 cards featuring Digimon, Tamers, and Option cards.
The core gameplay revolves around raising and evolving Digimon from your "Raising Area" to the battle zone to attack your opponent and destroy their security stack.
Each player starts with a stack of 5 Security Cards (a sort of life total). The goal is to reduce your opponent’s security stack to zero and land a finishing blow.
The Memory Gauge system is one of the unique mechanics. Instead of separate energy resources, players share a memory bar — using more powerful cards can give your opponent more memory on their turn.
