Cree Syllabics
In lead up to National Indigenous People's Day, we're inviting community members to learn about Cree Syllabics.

Who can learn? Kahkiyaw- All of you, any one interested in learning!

What will you be learning? Cree syllabics, also known as spirit markers

When:
Friday, June 13th, 5:00pm - 7:00pm, or
Saturday, June 14th, 10:00 am - 12:00pm

Why teach this?
To preserve and protect the Cree Syllabary through song, reading, writing and successfully creating your own syllabic charts.

Optional: Bring your own snacks and drinks or something to share! Got jam? Miss Jojo will always bring- pahkwêsikan/bannock!!
