Red Deer Chinese School 2025–2026 School Year Opening Notice
Dear Parents and Students,
As summer reaches its halfway point, enrollment for the 2025–2026 academic year at Red Deer Chinese School is now fully open!
Please pay close attention to the following important updates for this year:
📍 Class Location Update:
Starting this September, classes will move from Lindsey Thurber High School to our new downtown location:
Downtown 4807 Gaetz Ave., Red Deer
📅 First Day of Class:
Saturday, September 6, 2025
🕙 Class Time:
Every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (same as before)
📚 Curriculum:
We will continue to use the Chinese textbook series published by Jinan University, specifically designed for overseas Chinese children.
Based on the teachers' lesson plans, additional oral conversation and speaking practice will be incorporated.
Speaking exercises will be emailed to parents to support home review.
💰 Tuition (48 sessions per year, includes textbook fees):
• One student: $240
• Two students: $430
• Three or more students: $550
🎉 New Program Highlight:
This year, we are launching a Pre-K Chinese Introductory Class, designed for children aged 4–5 years old.
The course will focus on engaging interactions and storytelling to help young learners develop interest in the Chinese language.
The class will begin once 4–5 students are enrolled. We welcome early registration!
