Our good friend, Nick Labrash, recently received a very difficult health prognosis. Nick, a courageous Canadian Special Forces veteran, is now facing one of his toughest battles yet against an aggressive cancer.
Although Nick has faced many dangers in his lifetime, his kind, patient and protective character has remained steadfast. There is no greater example of this than the abundant love he gives to his partner and young children.
At this time, Nick’s devoted wife, has also had to step back from her career in order to care for him, along with their two children. We want to ensure that they can face this experience together with as little stress as possible.
While we cannot take on this battle for Nick, we can surround him and his family with the strength of community. So, in their honour, Zero Tattoo and RDSC, will be hosting a special event this August where we invite you to join us for a day of fundraising, encouragement and camaraderie.
Together, not only can we ease this family’s financial burdens, but show them that they are not alone in this fight. That the Canadian spirit of lending a helping hand is still alive and well in the Country that Nick so bravely served.�
