About the event

Whitley Carnival 2025
Welcome to Whitley Carnival! Step right up and prepare to be amazed by the colours, sounds and energy of Reading’s brightest and best street party.

Launching at 12 noon on Sunday 20 July 2025, Whitley Carnival’s Parade will include live music, costumes, dancing, fun and some very special giants!

The carnival start points will be at Reading Girls School, with the parade leading to the roundabout that joins Northumberland Avenue to Hartland Road. The parade will end at the John Madejski Academy at 1pm.
