We have a fall production on the horizon for November 7th and 8th, 2025 - Scenes from the Wednesday Night Knitting Club by Ann Caron, author of 2014's hit, Granite Lilacs! Auditions are at Raymond High School (45 Harriman Hill Road, Raymond, NH 03077) on Monday, August 4th, and Wednesday, August 6th, from 6pm - 7:30 pm.
The action takes place in a “Starbucks-like” atmosphere, where the main characters meet weekly to knit and discover they have more in common than just going to high school together.
Large and small roles for both women and men, all ages welcome.
Roles:
Andrea - executive assistant
Joanna - works at Meals on Wheels
Alex - construction manager
Caroline - young girl, Joanna’s coworker
Helen - Alex’s mother
Kelsey - Andrea’s daughter
Nate - Barista - preferably male
Rob - Assistant Barista, later on an EMT - definitely male
Small parts:
John – Andrea’s husband
Jason – Caroline’s husband
Ashley – Andrea’s high school classmate
Coffee shop customers (5-6)
Police officers (2)
Jason’s coworker (female)
Book club members (4-5)
3 sister wives
Matt – Joanna’s husband
