Annual Heirloom Tomato and Veggie Plant Sale

22nd Annual Heirloom Tomato and Veggie Plant Sale on Saturday, May 17th. The sale will be held from 10 am – 3 pm in the parking lot of the Masonic Lodge on the corner of Lake Street & Franklin Turnpike in Ramsey. This annual sale is a fund raiser for the Woman’s Club of Ramsey and helps to raise money for their charitable work.

There will be a large variety of Heirloom tomato plants offered as well as a great selection of herb, eggplant, squash, lettuce, cabbage, onion and cucumber plants. Also offered will be many varieties of sweet & hot pepper varieties. There will be a large selection of heirloom & hybrid tomatoes available the day of the sale and pre-orders are encouraged to ensure you get your favorite varieties!

The famous Ramapo, Moreton & Rutgers varieties of tomato plants will again be offered, as they have been longtime favorites of New Jersey home gardeners. Included in the many varieties offered are tomato plants which are suitable for patio and container gardening. The plants are grown by Catalpa Ridge Farm, located in Wantage, NJ.
