يدعوكم معهد إبراهيم أبو لغد للدراسات الدولية بالشراكة مع المجلس العربي للعلوم الاجتماعية ومركز أورفاليا للدراسات العالمية والدولية في جامعة كاليفورنيا سانتا باربرا والجامعة التربوية الوطنية في كولومبيا
لتقديم ملخصات أوراق للمشاركة في مؤتمر "هندسة الخراب: العسكرة واقتصاد الحرب"
تستقبل لجنة المؤتمر الأوراق البحثية التي تتناول موضوع "العسكرة واقتصاد الحرب"، ويدعو المؤتمر الباحثين والناشطين الراغبين في المشاركة إلى تقديم أوراق تتناول مختلف الجوانب المرتبطة بالعسكرة، بما في ذلك المنظومة السجنيّة والمراقبة، الاقتصاد السياسي للحرب، استراتيجيات مقاومة العسكرة، وعسكرة الحيز الحضري.
تستقبل اللجنة الملخصات (بحدود 250 كلمة، بالإضافة إلى نبذة تعريفية) باللغات العربية والإنجليزية والإسبانية، بموعد أقصاه 28 آذار 2025. يذكر أن الموعد النهائي لتسليم الأوراق الكاملة 30 أيار 2025.
تاريخ انعقاد المؤتمر: 16 و17 حزيران 2025، بترتيب هجين في حرم جامعة بيرزيت، وعبر الانترنت.

The Ibrahim Abu Lughod Institute of International Studies, the Arab Council for the Social Sciences, the Orfalea Center for Global and International Studies at UC Santa Barbara, and the National Pedagogical University in Colombia, invite abstract submissions to the conference "Engineering Destruction: Militarization and the War Economy"��The organizing committee invites scholars and activists wishing to participate to reflect upon the conference’s themes including carceral tactics and surveillance, the political economy of war, resistance strategies against militarization and carcerality, and the militarization of urban spaces.
Abstract submissions (250 words and a short bio) are welcome in Arabic, English, and Spanish, until March 28, 2025. Full papers are requested by May 30, 2025.
Conference dates 16 and 17 June 2025, in hybrid format at Birzeit University and online.

El Instituto Ibrahim Abu Lughod de Estudios Internacionales, el Consejo Árabe de Ciencias Sociales, el Centro Orfalea de Estudios Globales e Internacionales en UC Santa Barbara y la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, invitan al envío de resúmenes de ponencia para participar en el seminario “Ingeniería de la destrucción: militarización y economía de guerra”
El comité organizador invita a académicos y activistas que deseen participar en esta actividad, a reflexionar sobre temas relacionados con el seminario, incluyendo los sistemas penitenciarios, la circulación de tácticas y políticas violentas, la economía política de la guerra, las estrategias de resistencia contra la militarización y la economía de guerra, y La militarización del espacio urbano.
Los resúmenes podrán enviarse en español, árabe o inglés (de 250 palabras y una breve bio) hasta 28 de marzo de 2025,
