The fabulously fun and inspiring musical, “Legally Blonde” is equal parts hilarious and heart-warming as it runs Friday, May 16 through Sunday, June 1 at the Racine Theatre Guild.
Omigod you guys! Elle Woods is totally head-over-heels in love with Warner Huntington III and can hear wedding bells chime. Until, of course, he dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law. Determined to win him back, Elle ditches fashion magazines for legal books and gets accepted to Harvard too. Tackling stereotypes, statutes, and scandal, she defies expectations and proves herself to the world in love, law, and life.
Based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the 2001 movie starring Reese Witherspoon, the musical’s book is written by Heather Hach with music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin and is licensed by Music Theatre International.
