Dreams From Malta

The Wignacourt Museum in Rabat will host Dreams from Malta: Four Visual Narratives, a unique collective exhibition bringing together four artists from Bulgaria and Malta: Rosen Donchev, Vanya Zapryanova, Kiril Katsarov, and Vania Goshe. Organised by a team from Bulgaria and Malta, and assisted by Prof. Charlene Vella in Malta, the exhibition will be inaugurated on Friday, 6 September at 7 pm and will remain open to the public until 29 September 2025.

The exhibition forms part of The Road to an Exhibition. This European cultural programme seeks to present Bulgarian artistic productions beyond their national borders, fostering cross-cultural dialogue and expanding audiences. The project explores not only the final works but also the journey of creation. In Bulgaria, the artists’ processes have been documented in a short film and is being accompanied by workshops, demonstrations, and community programmes aimed at young people and diverse audiences. At the same time, a digital exhibition will later be launched on an international platform, allowing global audiences to engage with the project. The exhibition has received the financial support of the Ministry of Culture in Bulgaria under the National Plan for Sustainability and Development. The European Union funds the project through the NextGenerationEU (NGEU) instrument. I am running a few minutes late; my previous meeting is running over.
