Salem County Call to Action - Quinton Planning Meeting RE: Industrialized Rural Development

The word is out that Quinton’s weak municipal land use laws make it vulnerable to industrialization and development that conflict with the culture and desires of most Quinton and Salem County residents. The Quinton Planning Board must act immediately to pass municipal land use ordinances recommended by its own township committee. This must be done urgently to prevent further sales of farmland to industrial developers and to promote smart, community-driven economic development that aligns with our county’s rural character. Two large properties are currently at risk of development that is unsuitable for their locations in Quinton. Please attend the Planning Board meeting (and bring friends!) to voice your concerns and urge the Quinton Planning Board to pass municipal land use laws that will protect our community.
