A meeting for land and resource managers, and others to learn about:
· Name several invasive species in the Big Beng region and central panhandle of Florida.
· Be introduced to several new invasive species spreading north into the Florida panhandle due to Florida’s warming trends.
· Understand the basics of applying herbicide to invasive species in natural areas in a safe and effective manner (including cogongrass and torpedo grass)
· Be introduced to a novel incision point technique to control invasive tree species in upland ecosystems
· Be introduced to several invasive tree pest arthropods that threaten Florida’s forests and silviculture industry.
· Hear brief updates from resource managers within the ARSA CISMA area, as well as updates from elsewhere in the state.

Info: All attending agencies, NGOs, private landowners and land/resource managers can provide updates to any invasive species management actions or goals being pursued within the ARSA footprint of Florida.
