About the event

Funding in Practice: The Practicalities of a Great Ask
This is a hands-on workshop designed for individuals, groups, and organisations looking to feel more confident and equipped when asking for funding.
Explore what makes an ask successful, why thanking is just as important as asking, and how to tailor your approach depending on who you’re speaking to. Whether it’s a grant, donation, or corporate partnership, asking is both an art and a science—and anyone can learn how to do it effectively!

You’ll leave with a clearer sense of what you need to say, who needs to hear it, and how to say it, plus a simple plan to keep building your fundraising confidence and capability.
