Sounds of Cyprus - Traditional Cypriot Music with Global Influences

Escape the sounds of the city and immerse yourself in the Sounds of Cyprus. Traditional Cypriot music and dance in the heart of Long Island City, with the majestic view of the Manhattan skyline.

On June 17th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Sounds of Cyprus will take the stage at the amphitheater area in Gantry Plaza State Park for a special outdoor performance celebrating the music and culture of Cyprus. There will be a 7:00 PM - 7:20 PM Q&A with the groups after the performance.

This year, Sounds of Cyprus will be joined by the Greek-American Folklore Society, who will perform and lead the audience in learning traditional Cypriot dances—inviting everyone to take part in this interactive cultural experience.
