CPL x PASO: Run for Rights

Run for Rights: Solidarity Run & Community Day

Join and for a special summer event centered around community, movement, and collective action.

We’re coming together for a 5K solidarity run at Astoria Park to raise awareness and funds for — an organization providing critical legal services to immigrant children and families ensuring that no child appears in immigration court without high quality legal representation.

This event is more than just a run — it’s a reminder that advocacy can take many forms, and that community is built one step at a time.

What to expect:

✨ A brief info session + community welcome at 9:00 AM

🏃🏽‍♂️ A 5K solidarity run at 10:00 AM (all paces welcome — walking encouraged too!)

🤝🏽 Learn more about KIND and how your support makes a difference

🌞 Games, time to connect post-run, and light snacks + water (first come, first serve)

💛 A chance to support an organization doing life-changing work in our immigrant communities

Donation Info:

💸 We ask for a minimum $15 donation to participate in this event, and deeply appreciate any additional contributions. All proceeds will go directly to KIND, and our collective fundraising goal is at least $1,000.

What to bring:

🧺 Picnic blanket or towel if you’d like to relax afterward

🏳️ Flags, signs, or shirts that represent who you are and what you stand for! We encourage you to bring what speaks to your story and your community.

Not a runner? No problem.You are still warmly welcome to attend — whether to cheer others on, share space, or simply show support. This event is about solidarity, not speed.
