This immersive exhibition explores the delicate interplay between water, earth and the cosmic realm, inviting viewers to contemplate the profound cultural significance of Aotearoa's star cluster. Through evocative artworks, Jimmy navigates the spiritual and physical boundaries that bind us to our environment, revealing the deep cultural narratives embedded in Matariki's luminous presence.

The exhibition delves into a profound meditation on belonging, ancestry and the timeless dialogue between human experience and celestial wisdom. Exploring how the stars reflect our connections with one another, indigenous customs, cultural practices and the significance of Matariki within the Tainui Iwi, marking the Māori new year guided by the lunar calendar.
