🎨 Featured Presentation: "Colored Pencil Quilts" with Connie Anderson
Connie’s quilting journey began nearly 50 years ago with a simple desire—to create a quilt for her children. Armed with scissors, cardboard templates, and a lot of determination, she crafted her first sailboat-themed quilt from humble materials. That beloved quilt, worn down by years of love, sparked a lifelong passion.
After moving from Oklahoma to Montana, Connie spent 17 years at the Quilt Gallery in Kalispell, where she learned from some of the quilting world's most renowned instructors, including Rosalie Dace, Ruth McDowell, Sue Spargo, Judy Niemeyer, Susan Carlson, and Michelle Jackson. She also taught a variety of classes, created patterns for Hoffman Fabrics, and earned Bernina Mastery Instructor credentials.
Now back in Oklahoma, Connie is excited to share one of her most popular techniques with us: coloring on fabric with colored pencils!
If you loved coloring as a child, you’ll love learning how to add vibrant color and dimension to your quilting projects.
